  1. *A national survey concerning the organisation and structure of palliative care in Danish clinical hospital departments (N = 410). Here, the responses from the case hospital’s 29 participating departments are shown.** The self evaluation concerned 56 sections’ fulfilment of Standard 2.19.1: ‘Treatment of the incurably ill patient and care for the patient’s relatives’, Version 1, at the level of Indicator 1: The institution has guidelines for palliative care, and Indicator 2: Leaders and members of the staff are familiar with the guidelines and use them.# Of the 29 PAVI-survey responders, 6 departments did not join the selfevaluation: 2 medical departments, 1 audiology, 1 eye, 2 emergency room.
