Same as phase 1

Not identified as suffering from cardiac cachexia (based on the results of phase 1)

Are aged 18 and over

Lacking the capacity to give consent

Able to read, write and speak English

Under the age of 18

Have face-to-face contact with the patient more than 5 times per week

Be nominated by the patient

Be physically and mentally capable of participation (self-assessment)

Willing to be involved
